 Hogs in the Sand  has received critical acclaim from readers and reviewers alike.

Since its release, it has been a finalist in the American Books Fest's "Best Book Awards," in both the BEST NEW NON-FICTION and MILITARY HISTORY categories.

It won fourth place in the Foreword Indies "Book of the Year Award," in the WAR & MILITARY category.

The book then won a Literary Excellence Inc. "Book Excellence Award" in the MILITARY category.

Most recently, the book was a finalist in American Book Fest's International Book Awards, in both the "Best New Nonfiction" and "History: Military" categories.
